The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for applying human resources expertise in HR practices and policies. He/she will provide a wide range of HR support and will play a key role in the success of the organization by offering guidance on recruitment, employment, benefits, and HR policy under the direction of the Sr. HR Specialist.
Knowledge and Skill: 3-5 years previous Human Resources experience, preferably in a plant environment. General knowledge of Human Resources policies and procedures, EEO, AAP, and employment. Previous experience administering FMLA, COBRA and experience with labor relations, working in a union environment preferred. Strong attention to detail required. Excellent computer skills, and good communication required. Some college required, degree preferred.
